CGSA Outdoor Soccer 2021!!!

We sure have missed you! We are proud to announce we are back for another season. Our online registration is officially open at and our in person registration dates will be announced soon!

We are aware of the questions and concerns surrounding another season during a pandemic but we are confident and optimistic that government planning and the way this virus behaves in warm weather will give us a fair shot at an outdoor season and the ability to put safer practices in play outside that we just couldn’t have indoors. We understand the concerns parents have and we are always open to any questions at

We are excited to announce we have worked really hard to keep our fees low this outdoor season! We believe in affordable and fun soccer for all.
All of our age groups are $140 and under per player. If cost is a barrier for your family please check out KidSport ( or JumpStart ( and bring your filed application form to your in person registration!

At CGSA we believe in community, which is why every family participating in CGSA is required to have a community league membership to their home league regardless of what league they register with. Community leagues are the heart of Edmonton, and the benefits they offer are largely overlooked. We aim to bring the focus back to community leagues, and to support the growth of our leagues.

Please keep an eye on or our facebook page CGSA Community Grassroots Soccer Academy for the announcement of in person registration dates and remember you will need to bring:
1) your registration number (provided to you once your online registration is complete)
2) your registration fee payable by cash, debit, credit or cheque
3) your KidSport or JumpStart application if applicable
4) you community league membership
5) proof of childs age
6) your $250 volunteer commitment deposit cheque

any idea if the kids will even be able to practice with covid restrictions if games are not allowed to happen?

It looks like games are still going to be allowed under the new rules. as for practices we are still waiting on the schools to see if we are allowed in to practice
