Proof of Vaccination Rules

Please be advised, in accordance with AHS guidelines and facility guidelines:

-All spectators 12 and older will be required to provide either 1) proof of vaccination(both doses required at least two weeks prior to entry) or 2) proof of a privately paid negative rapid test within 72 hours of entry before being admitted to the facility unless a medical exemption letter is provided. Players participating in practice or game are excluded from this rule at this time.

-All coaches participating in CGSA will be required to provide either 1) proof of vaccination(both doses required at least two weeks prior to entry) or 2) proof of a privately paid negative rapid test within 72 hours of entry before being admitted to the facility unless a medical exemption letter is provided.

– All referees 18 years and older will be required to provide either 1) proof of vaccination(both doses required at least two weeks prior to entry) or 2) proof of a privately paid negative rapid test within 72 hours of entry before being admitted to the facility unless a medical exemption letter is provided. Refs 12-18 are excluded from this rule at this time.

-Starting November 15, 2021 QR codes are expected to be the only acceptable form of proof of vaccination in Alberta. You can download your unique QR code at https://covidrecords.alberta.ca/home and save it to your phone or print it for your records. Please be aware photo ID with your name and birthdate is to be shown with your QR code. We advise you keep your current proof of vaccination method with you until you are certain facilities have switched over.

-Medical exemption letters are no longer accepted from Walk-in Clinics or Family doctors and must come a Respiratory or similar specialist. These exemption letters must be shown on request to receive entry to facilities.

-All people aged 2 and over must wear a mask or other AHS accepted face covering while inside of the facilities. Players practicing or playing sports will be instructed on when and where they can remove their masks safely.

The rules surrounding the current pandemic are fluid and we will continue to keep you updated on any changes to facility rules and expectations.
